Deane and Becky reported on how the prairie restoration project at the Japanese Gardens is progressing. Most of the materials have been procured. Some planting has been done. We're waiting for the weather and the City so we can install the fence and the blind.

We decided to visit the Japanese Garden for our next field trip. Meet at the southeast corner of the Shawnee airport on 30 May 2015 at 8 am. Deane and Becky will show us what work has been done and what still needs to be done. We will survey the birds at the site. Afterwards we may visit another birding area.

On 20 June 2015 we will visit the Urban Wildlife Area at Tinker Air Force Base. Meet at St. Gregory's University at 6 PM to carpool. Please bring identification.
