On Saturday five of us visited Lake Tecumseh. Here’s what we observed:

1 singing Bewick’s Wren
several Eastern Bluebirds (mostly juveniles)
Great Blue Heron
Northern Mockingbirds
1 singing Brown Thrasher
4 European Starlings
2 singing Field Sparrows
1 singing Lark Sparrow
many Dickcissels
3 singing Indigo Buntings
2 singing Painted Buntings
1 singing Common Yellowthroat
