meadowlarks

I watched several Western Meadowlarks singing with the Eastern Meadowlarks at the Shawnee Airport yesterday. At least they were singing western songs!

This morning we had a Pine Siskin at our feeders at the Catalpa Cottage.

snow

Well, it’s been a snowy February so far. The snow has brought Fox Sparrows, Red-breasted Nuthatches, and this Purple Finch to our feeders.
